GrowHabit Subscription Guide

Last Modified: May 19, 2026

This page is a user guide (FAQ) that explains, in plain terms, the questions most frequently asked by GrowHabit subscribers. Unlike formal legal clauses, it is organized to help with your everyday use of the Service. For legally binding details such as payment and refunds, the Terms of Service shall prevail.

Before You Start

To help you better understand GrowHabit, here are the basic principles of our subscriptions.

A. Monthly & Yearly Subscriptions (Recurring)

1) One store account = one subscription

A single store account (a Google account or an Apple account) can subscribe for only one GrowHabit account at a time.

2) An example to make it clear

Suppose GrowHabit account Q has an active monthly subscription under Play Store account A.

3) Cross-platform use (Android ↔ iOS)

When you log in with one GrowHabit account, you can use the same subscription benefits on any device, whether Android or iOS.

⚠️ This simply means that a single subscription is recognized on both devices — it does not mean you should subscribe separately on each store. You only need to purchase the subscription once. However, managing the subscription (cancelling or changing it) is only possible through the store where it was purchased.

B. Lifetime Pass (One-Time Purchase)

1) Restoring the lifetime pass

A lifetime pass is permanently retained on the receipt of the store account used to purchase it. Therefore, when you log in with the same store account, you can restore and use the lifetime pass even on a different GrowHabit account. This is normal behavior based on the store's receipt restoration mechanism.

2) Use across different stores (Google ↔ Apple)

In principle, receipts are not shared between different stores. However, when you log in with the same GrowHabit account, the lifetime pass entitlement is recognized, so you can use it on the other platform as well. Even in this case, actual payment management is only possible through the store where the lifetime pass was purchased.

3) Holding a lifetime pass together with a monthly/yearly subscription

While holding a lifetime pass, purchasing a monthly or yearly subscription in addition is not blocked by the system.

If you have a lifetime pass, a monthly or yearly subscription is not separately needed. If you have an ongoing monthly/yearly subscription after purchasing a lifetime pass, we recommend cancelling that subscription (turning off auto-renewal) in the corresponding store to avoid unnecessary additional charges.

C. Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription

1) Where do I cancel a recurring subscription?

Cancelling a monthly/yearly recurring subscription (turning off auto-renewal) must be done in the store where the subscription was purchased.

2) Does cancelling stop my access immediately?

No. Even if you cancel a recurring subscription, you can continue to use it until the already-paid subscription period ends. Cancelling stops the next payment (auto-renewal); your access for the remaining period is not removed immediately.

3) What happens to premium features when my subscription ends?

Once your subscription has fully ended, premium (PRO) only features and content — such as fully bloomed plants in the Garden and their journals and records — become unavailable until you subscribe again. However, the underlying data itself is not deleted; it is preserved and becomes available again when you resubscribe.

D. Account Withdrawal and Subscriptions

1) Can I withdraw while subscribed?

Yes, you can. Account withdrawal (leaving the Service) is possible at any time, regardless of whether you have a subscription. You can withdraw even while a monthly or yearly subscription is active.

2) Does withdrawing automatically cancel my subscription?

⚠️ No. Even if you withdraw your account, your App Store / Google Play subscription is not automatically cancelled. To prevent additional charges, we recommend that you first cancel your subscription in the store using the methods in Section C above before withdrawing.

3) What if a lifetime pass holder withdraws and signs up again?

If someone who purchased a lifetime pass withdraws and then signs up again with the same store account, the store receipt is restored, so they can use the lifetime pass again.

4) Where do I withdraw?

E. Payment and Refunds (Summary)

The following is a summary of the refund policy. The detailed and official refund terms are governed by Articles 7 and 8 of the Terms of Service, so please refer to the Terms for accurate details.

Refunds on iOS (App Store)

The authority over refunds for iOS in-app purchases lies with Apple. You can request a refund directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Refunds on Android (Google Play)

For Android in-app purchases, you can request a refund directly through Google Play within 48 hours of payment. After 48 hours, self-service refunds are not available, and any refund thereafter is handled individually in accordance with the policies of Google and the Company and applicable laws.
